Publisher details

Details such as the name, legal form, address and e-mail are available at socceroddsnz.com. They are there so that anyone with a question or a complaint can find the people responsible.

Purpose

An informational site on soccer and other betting, Nzsoccerodds does not take wagers, does not keep customer accounts, does not receive money and does not stand between readers and bookmakers. Nothing on it is a forecast that promises a win.

Under section 74AAA of the Racing Industry Act 2020, TAB NZ has been the only provider lawfully offering racing and sports betting to people in New Zealand since 28 June 2025, with TAB and Betcha as the online brands. The Department of Internal Affairs supervises compliance. No other bookmaker holds a New Zealand licence, because none can be applied for. The minimum age for betting with TAB NZ is 18.

Content and responsibility

Odds, markets and offers change from day to day, so the current terms of the provider decide, whatever an article says. Nzsoccerodds is not responsible for decisions taken on the strength of its texts. The Fair Trading Act 1986 prohibits misleading conduct in trade, and the texts are written with it in mind.

A linked page was looked at when the link was added, but later changes are outside the site’s control and its owner answers for them. Once reported, a link to unlawful material is removed.

Texts, tables and graphics fall under the Copyright Act 1994. Anything beyond fair dealing calls for the editors’ written consent first.

Help with gambling harm

Betting brings a risk of harm. When excessive gambling shows in a person or someone close, the Gambling Helpline and Safer Gambling Aotearoa are available. TAB NZ also describes deposit limits, bet limits and self-exclusion on its own pages.
